ASTON, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy had their hands full in falling at Neumann, 20-3, on Thursday.

The loss sends the Griffins to 5-6 on the season and 2-2 in CSAC play.

Freshman Renee Lachner (Flemington, N.J./Hunterdon Central) scored two goals while senior Amy Powell (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) also tallied for Gwynedd.

Mandy Feday netted a game-high five goals, scoring four of the five in the first half for the Knights (7-3, 3-0 CSAC). She would tally three in a span the game's first 3:43. Neumann would lead 11-1 at halftime.

The Griffins were outshot, 28-10. Goalie Megan Rose (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) recorded five saves in net.

Gwynedd Mercy will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Rosemont for a 1 p.m. start.
