WILLIAMSPORT, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy couldn't recover from a fast start from Lycoming as the Warriors handed the Griffins a 20-7 defeat on Saturday.

Junior Kelsey Yori (Folsom, Pa./Ridley) scored four times and added two assists. Sophomore Danae Perrymond (Pottstown, Pa./Pottstown) added a score and a helper.

The Griffins (2-3) found themselves trailing early, falling behind, 9-1, in the game's first 10 minutes. It would become a 15-1 deficit at the half.

Savannah Fox led all scorers with five goals. Kari Rybak added four while Maureen Heagy and Amber Graybill each had three for the Warriors (1-4).

Senior Amy Powell (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) and freshman Haley Williams (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower) also tallied for GM.

Goalie Megan Rose (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) saw 33 Lycoming shots, and recorded five saves.
