Senior Amy Powell (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) scored two goals for GM. Sophomore Danae Perrymond (Pottstown, Pa./Pottstown) and freshman Renee Lachner (Flemington, N.J./Hunterdon Central) also tallied for the Griffins.

After the teams traded goals in the first 3:06 of the game, Eastern would run off six-straight over a 10-minute span. The Eagles would score the final five goals of the half to lead 15-3 at the break.

Shannon Wilcox, Sara Blaylock, and Caliegh Falco each had four goals for Eastern.

Perrymond added a team-high four draw controls while Powell chipped in two caused turnovers. Sophomore Brianna Greer (Philadelphia, Pa./Bishop McDevitt) had three caused turnovers and two draws.

Goalie Megan Rose (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) made nine saves. The Eagles outshot GM, 37-12.

The Griffins will have their home opener on Wednesday, February 26th when they welcome Muhlenburg in a 4 p.m. start.
