Cedar Crest was able to stay with the Griffins early going taking their only lead of the game 8-7 at the 14:35 mark. The Griffins however would use a 24-0 run over the last five minutes of the stanza to take full control of the game as Natasha Matthews (Norristown, Pa. / Norristown) started the run at the 5:43 mark with her layup and Smith capped it off with her offensive put-back with forty two seconds remaining in the half. Gwynedd would take a 40-14 lead heading into the halftime break. 

The Griffins kept the momentum going to start the second half using another spurt this time a 9-0 run with Smith knocking down a three pointer to stretch the lead to 49-14. A Kelsey Yori (Folsom, Pa. / Ridley) three ball gave the Griffins their largest lead (88-32) with just under four minutes remaining in the game. 

Gwynedd saw fourteen different players reach the scoring column with Yori (11) and Matthews (10) hitting double figures.

GM shot 50.0% from the field on (37-of-74) shooting.  The Griffins out-rebounded the Falcons 34-29 with Dougherty, Matthews and Chandler DiFebbo (Phoenixville, Pa. / Phoenixville) all pulling down five rebounds a piece.

Gwynedd returns back to action on Monday hosting Keystone.  Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. as part of a CSAC Doubleheader with the men.
