BOYERTOWN, PA. -- Second-seeded Neumann defeated third-seeded Gwynedd-Mercy, 14-8, in the second game of the 2013 CSAC Baseball Tournament at Bear Stadium in Boyertown.

The Griffins now will face Centenary tomorrow at 2:30 in an elimination game. The Knights take on top-seeded Keystone at 11 a.m.

Senior Josh Martin (Pottstown, Pa./St. Pius X) went 3-for-5 with two runs, two RBI's and a personal-best and program-record tying four stolen bases. Junior John Burns (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) had two hits and two RBI's.

After the teams traded runs early on, Gwynedd would plate three in the fourth to take a 5-3 lead. Neumann scored seven runs in the fifth to open up a five-run lead.

Will Flores led the Knights with a 4-for-4 performance with five RBI's. His two-run triple keyed the seven-run fifth.

Starter Jamey Minnemeyer (Lansdale, Pa./Lansdale Catholic) lasted into the fifth, but gave up nine earned runs on nine hits.
