RADNOR, PA. -- Gwynedd-Mercy fell at Cabrini, 79-55, on Wednesday night in a Colonial States Athletic Conference matchup.

Nicole Dougherty (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Lower Moreland) led GM with 15 points while
Jordan Dominic (Sellersville, Pa./Pennridge) added 12, but the Griffins (14-8, 10-3 CSAC) briefly slipped in the first half and could not catch up.
An 18-4 Cabrini run turned a three-point game into a 33-16 lead midway in the first after Brittany Sandone completed a three-point play with 6:33 to go in the stanza. Neither team scored a point in the final 3:23 before halftime which saw the Cavs lead 43-30 at the break.
Cabrini would hold a double-digit lead throughout the second to go on and stay unbeaten in league play.
Sandone led all scorers with 18 points for Cabrini (20-3, 14-0 CSAC). Teammates Annie Rivituso and Colleen Stewart chipped in 15 and 13 respectively.
The Griffins will return to action on Saturday when they take on Notre Dame of Maryland at 2 p.m. to kick off a conference doubleheader. The men follow against Marywood at 4 p.m.
