TOWSON, MD. – Gwynedd-Mercy fell behind early and could not catch up in falling at Goucher, 21-6, in a non-league affair on Tuesday.

Jenna Gaydosh (Philadelphia, Pa./Nazareth Academy), and sophomore
Amy Powell (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) accounted for the scoring, as each recorded two goals apiece respectively.
The Griffins (7-8) trailed 6-0 after the first five minutes of the contest. After Powell's first goal at the 21:20 mark, the Gophers (5-10), out of the Landmark Conference, tallied up six-straight goals. GM would trail 16-3 at the half.
Goucher outshot Gwynedd, 36-19, and held a 35-25 groundball advantage.
GM will welcome Eastern in the regular-season finale on Thursday night starting at 7 p.m. The Griffins have clinched the #3 seed in the CSAC Tournament will host a first-round game on Saturday at 3 p.m. against Notre Dame (Md.).
