LAPLUME, PA. -- Gwynedd-Mercy was held to just two hits in suffering their first CSAC loss of the season in a 5-0 defeat at Keystone on Friday.

The Giants' Jeff Frost struck out 11 over eight innings while walking two. He allowed one hit coming in the eighth after tossing seven innings of no-hit ball. Freshman Greg Brooks (Voorhees, N.J./St. Joseph's PA) broke up the bid with a single to center.

GM starter John Barrington (Levittown, Pa./Harry S. Truman) struck out three with one walk in six-plus innings of work. He was responsible for four runs on seven hits.

Gwynedd (6-9-1, 3-1 CSAC) and Keystone (12-8, 5-1 CSAC) will meet in a DH that was moved from Saturday's original date to Sunday, starting at noon.
