GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Gwynedd-Mercy ran off seven-straight goals in the first 10 minutes of the game and did not look back in a 21-9 CSAC win over visiting Neumann on Saturday.

The game was marked with a pair of milestones as well as senior Colleen Dellostretto (Hatboro, Pa./Upper Moreland) scored her 200th career goal and classmate Kristie Pollock (Kennett Square, Pa./Unionville) tallied her 100th.

Pollock and sophomore Brigid Dowling (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower) paced the offense with four goals apiece, as the Griffins (6-3, 3-0 CSAC), won their fourth game in a row.

Alexandra Bohen led the Knights 1-5, 1-1 CSAC) with four goals.

The Griffins outshot Neumann, 34-29, for the game led 14-6 at the half.

Dellostretto added three scores while junior Shannon Carabba (Erdenheim, Pa./Springfield) and sophomore Morgan Hosler (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) each had two goals and two assists.

Gwynedd returns to action next Saturday, April 2nd with a CSAC matchup at Centenary starting at 1 p.m.
