GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Gwynedd-Mercy defeated Keystone, 85-65, in a CSAC Tournament Semifinal Game Tuesday night. The Griffins will advance to the conference championship game on Friday at Cabrini in a 7 p.m. start.

Jon Crabtree (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) and
Jon Hogga (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) combined to score 52 points as Gwynedd-Mercy defeated Keystone 85-65 to advance to the title game for the sixth time and third in the last four years..
Just four days after being named to CSAC All-League First Team, Crabtree and Hogga again stepped up for the Griffins. Crabtree scored a career-high 27 points and finished 5-of-6 from the three-point line. Hogga finished 1 rebound shy of recording his eighth double-double of the season, finishing with 25 points and nine rebounds.
The Griffins (21-5) took a 6-0 lead on three pointers from Hogga and Crabtree to begin the game and never looked back. Gwynedd never trailed on the night, using a nearly flawless first half to take a 15-point lead at the break. GM outshot Keystone, 67%-36% in the first half including hitting seven of their 10 attempts from beyond the arc.

Dan DelConte (Blue Bell, Pa./Wissahickon) dished out a game-high 10 assists and freshman
Brandyn Wims (Philadelphia, Pa./Cardinal Dougherty) came off the bench to score 15 points in Tuesday's win.
Mike Kelly led the Giants (21-6) with 18 points and Malcolm Boone chipped in 13 points. Kenneth Hardnett recorded a double-double, grabbing a game-high 10 boards to go with his 13 points. Hardnett added three assists, three steals, and two blocks.
The Griffins never allowed Keystone back in the game thanks in part to their free-throw shooting down the stretch. Gwynedd, who shoots 67% as a team on the year, hit 20-of-25 foul shots including 13 in the second half to preserve the win.
