CLARKS SUMMIT, PA. -- Gwynedd-Mercy was able to push their win streak to six with a 60-40 over Baptist Bible at Huckaby Gymnasium Saturday afternoon.
The Griffins (13-4) were able to limit the Defenders (5-11) to a season-low 40 points as the Gwynedd defense forced 18 turnovers and limited Baptist Bible to just 34% shooting for the contest.
Senior
Jon Crabtree (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) was the only Griffin in double figures. Crabtree led all scorers with 22 points on 9-of-17 shooting. Sophomore

Brandyn Wims (Philadelphia, Pa./Cardinal Dougherty) each finished with eight points.
Luke Peterson scored 11 points and Jordan Greve added eight for the Defenders in Saturday's loss.
Gwynedd outrebounded their opponent coincidentally for the sixth-straight time, while the GM bench outscored the Baptist Bible reserves, 17-4, to help lift them to victory.
The win improved the Griffins to 8-2 in the CSAC, trailing only Cabrini. They will look to avenge their last conference loss on Monday night when Keystone visits the Griffin Complex. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m.
