Nick Harkins joins the staff for his first season, after wrapping up a stellar career on the field for the griffins in 2016. Nick was a four year starter at the LSM position, appearing in 57 games during his career, and ranks fifth in caused turnovers, tenth in ground balls, and second in man down goals in the all-time record book for the Griffins. Nick was a captain in both his junior and senior seasons, and was selected to wear the prestigious #38 jersey from his sophomore through senior seasons. This jersey is awarded to a defensive player who exemplifies hard work, dedication, toughness, and commitment on the defensive side of the ball.
Harkins was a CSAC Honorable Mention selection at the LSM position in 2015, and a second team selection in 2016. Equally as impressive to his on the field career was his performance in the classroom. He was recognized as four-time All-Academic Team selection by the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
He graduated with a finance degree from Gwynedd Mercy University in May of 2016. Nick is a proud native of the Northeast Philadelphia area, and graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School.
