Mason Risner enters his second season as a member of the Men’s Lacrosse staff and first as the program's recruiting coordinator after completing a standout career for Griffins. His primary role will be to assist Coach Reinard with the offense and extra man unit, as well as run the substitution box on game day.
In 2014, Mason graduated from Gwynedd Mercy with a degree in Sports Management, and completed a standout career on the field for the Griffins. Mason is the programs first career 100 goal scorer, and ranks first in career goals with 101, first in career points per game 2.43, first in career games started with 50, and second in career points with 141. Risner also holds the freshman record for points at 41, and goals 29. During that season he led the Griffins with five game-winning goals. Mason was a two time All CSAC selection during his career.
Mason is a graduate of Hempfield High School where he was an all-conference selection.
