Derrin Mangin

    Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach - Defense
Derrin Mangin enters his second year as assistant coach for the Griffin Men’s Lacrosse Team. Previously, Mangin coached defense at his alma mater, Archbishop Wood High School, and was also the strength and conditioning coach for the boy’s lacrosse team.

He played for Division I Loyola College before transferring to Ursinus College, where he was named Honorable Mention All-Centennial Conference as a long stick midfielder (LSM) during his junior year and led the team in groundballs and caused turnovers in his senior year.

While attending Archbishop Wood, Mangin played lacrosse under his father, Don. Mangin was a three-time first-team all-Catholic. He helped his team reach its first state playoff game in program history in his junior year. Then, in his senior year, Mangin was third on the team in points as a defenseman, earned Bucks County Player of the Year, All-State, and All-American honors.

Mangin graduated from Ursinus College in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise and sport science and a minor in coaching. He resides in Warminster with his wife, Alisha.
