Brandon Brown ’16 joined the Gwynedd Mercy University men’s lacrosse staff as a defensive assistant/strength and conditioning coach under Head Coach Blase Cesarone ’17 prior to the 2023 season. Professionally, Brown is an exercise physiologist and a former head trainer at Revolve Fitness of New Britain, Pennsylvania.
Coach Brown played alongside Coach Cesarone and fellow assistant Jacob Snavely ’18 during his four-year career (2012-2016) at Gwynedd Mercy University. Currently ranked seventh all-time for games played (59) and second all-time in games started (58), Brown established himself as a vital part of the Griffins’ success. The well-respected defenseman finished his collegiate career ninth all-time for caused turnovers with 34 and 18th all-time for ground balls with 78.
Following his 2016 graduation from Gwynedd Mercy University’s sport management program, Brown worked for The Vanguard Group before pursuing a professional career in health science. The sport management major currently assists patients with therapeutic stretches and exercises that assist in their physical rehabilitation. He resides in locally with his wife Jill and their son Chase.
