Biography

FRESHMAN (2024) – Gaffney (4gp-0gs) recovered two ground balls and caused two turnovers in four reserve appearances.

SOPHOMORE (2025) – Gaffney (16gp-11gs) made tremendous improvement in his sophomore year and became a regular in the Griffins’ starting lineup as the season wore on. He named the AEC Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week after recording a shot, six ground balls, four caused turnovers, and a 1-for-1 (1.000) performance on the face-off circle in a 21-3 triumph at Cairn University (Mar. 22). Gaffney finished the year 1-of-2 (.500) on the face-off, while recording an assist, two shots, 21 ground balls, and 11 caused turnovers.

JUNIOR (2026) – Gaffney (14gp-7gs) was a major part of the Griffin rotation as he appeared in all 14 contests and started in half of them. He finished the season with two shots, 18 ground balls, and eight caused turnovers.
