Biography

SOPHOMORE (2021-2022) – McCants (25gp/0gs) was a valuable reserve during his sophomore season, totaling 34 points (1.4/game), 31 rebounds (1.2/game), seven assists, a block, and four steals in 25 appearances. His best performance was a 10-point effort with four rebounds and an assist in an 86-83 overtime win at Marywood University (Jan. 26).

JUNIOR (2022-2023) – McCants (27gp-21gs) assumed a starting role in his junior season and helped anchor the Griffins’ Atlantic East Conference (AEC)-leading defense (66.1 points/game) with 12 blocks and eight steals. He finished the season averaging 5.2 points per game (PPG, 141 points) and 4.6 rebounds per game (RPG, 123 rebounds), while providing 17 assists.
