SOPHOMORE (2023-2024) – Benson (20gp-1gs) transferred from National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II member, Bluefield State University to serve as a valuable reserve for the Griffins. He recorded a season-high 12 points in an 80-74 loss at Arcadia University (Nov. 15) provided totals of 95 points (4.8/game), 32 rebounds (1.6/game), 13 assists (0.7/game), and two steals (0.1/game) in 20 appearances (1 start).

JUNIOR (2024-2025) – Benson (10gp-0gs) saw limited time due to injury. He totaled 37 points (3.7/game), five rebounds, two assists, and a steal as a reserve.

SENIOR (2025-2026) – Benson (24gp-2gs) was a valuable reserve for the Griffins as he averaged 6.1 points (146 total points) and 1.9 rebounds (45) in 24 appearances. He went for a career - and team - high 20 points in a 75-74 overtime win against Neumann University (Feb. 14) as he came off the Gwynedd Mercy University to do damage with six threes (6-of-10, .600); four (10:11, 9:48, 8:29, 3:23) came in a clutch second half performance.
