In his first season, Julian helped Gwynedd-Mercy, to a 17-10 overall record, a CSAC playoff appearance, ECAC tournament appearance, and a Harold J. Brodie (RIT) Tournament Championship.

While on the recruiting trail in the summer of 2011, Julian became known throughout the region’s network of coaches because of his proactive approach and communication with high school coaches. He continues to build a significant network of high school players and coaches in the Philadelphia region through his extensive work with basketball camps and local YMCA work. He was the basketball camp instructor for the Abington YMCA from 2009-10 and had an off-season basketball clinic in the spring of 2010 for high school players in the local area.

Coach Falana has worked many basketball camps including the Philadelphia 76ers, Villanova University, and Herb Magee Basketball.
