Jason Cavell '17 is excited to be back on campus, transitioning from a player to member of the Griffins Coaching Staff. Cavell was a member of the 2016 CSAC Championship team that earned a NCAA tournament appearance and advanced to the second round with an 86-85 thrilling win over #6 ranked Marietta. Cavell was named a team captain prior to his senior season while earning his Bachelor’s in Business Marketing. Cavell’s coaching career started under Coach Derek Wright, a well known high school basketball coach in the Bucks County, PA area and brother of Jay Wright, Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Villanova University.

Cavell’s player development experience stems from his time with Dime Athletics, training professional and collegiate athletes as well as his time coaching at the postgraduate level.

Most recently, Jason started his own small business, Platform Recruiting, helping to assist high school graduates and college transfers in achieving exposure and scholarship opportunities to play collegiate basketball.

Jason is single and resides in Newtown, Pa.
