Biography

GRADUATE (2021-2022) – Spencer (26gp/26gs) found his way onto the AEC Weekly Report more frequently than any other Griffin as he garnered two Defensive Player of the Week (Nov. 11, Dec. 20) titles and two Honor Roll (Dec. 6, Dec. 13) appearances. He recorded six double-doubles with 9.6 points per game (PPG) (249 points) and a team-high 8.0 rebounds per game (RPG) (209 rebounds). Additionally, Spencer offered 56 assists, seven blocks, and 29 steals. He recorded a career-high 14 rebounds twice; the first came with 11 points, an assist, and two blocks in an 80-70 loss to Alvernia University (Nov. 11) and the second came with five points and a steal in a 62-57 win over Centenary University (Feb. 7). Spencer was also featured in the College Basketball Times' “GMercyU's Collins Is Learning and Teaching" by A.J. Moore (December 23; Vol. 1, No. 19).
