- Gwynedd Mercy University led the opening set as late as 10-9, but the home side reclaimed the advantage (11-10) before separating for a 25-15 win.
- Etter's 6.5 points came on five kills, an ace, and a block assist. She also recorded two assists and two digs.
- Sophomore setters Brynn Crooks (Philadelphia, Pa.) and Macie Ferla (Mickleton, N.J.) took turns running the offense; the former recorded five assists and the former finished with eight. The latter also offered two of the Griffins' six aces and a team-high six digs.

- Gwynedd Mercy University hit .278 (32K-12E-72TA) for the match; their best set was the first, when they combined for a .429 (11K-2E-21TA) team hitting percentage.
- The Griffins ran away early in the opening set, taking a 12-4 perch before securing it by a 25-15 measure. The process repeated in the second set with the Red and Gold separating for a 12-6 lead before a 25-17 end. In the third, a tight set saw Gwynedd Mercy University sprint for set-point, 24-19, before having to win it by two; 27-25.
- Etter recorded seven kills, four of the Griffins' 14 aces, and six digs. Her fourth kill gave the Griffins a 10-6 second-set advantage and marked the 1,000th point of her collegiate career.
- Hastings finished with nine kills and two aces.
- Ferla was the main playmaker with 16 of the Red and Gold's 26 assists. She also recorded a kills, three aces, and four digs.
- Crooks contributed a kill, eight assists, four aces, and four digs.
