Kira Bradley (Langhorne, Pa.) led the Griffins across the stat-sheet with two goals, an assist, four ground balls, seven draw controls, and four caused turnovers.
Griffin Highlights
- The Red and Gold defense looked to limit the Lions' multigoal runs, but Albright College jumped out to an early lead with a six-goal first quarter, 6-0 (5:21)
- The initial Lion run was broken up by a pair of unassisted scores (4:00, 1:51) from Bradley.
- Junior midfielder Rebecca Gordon (Sicklerville, N.J.) scored a on a free position goal when the Griffins were a player down early in the second quarter; 7-3 (12:24), and scored an unassisted, extra-player goal early in the third quarter; 11-4 (13:26).
- Sophomore midfielder Elena Colliluori (Gilbertsville, Pa.) also scored for Gwynedd Mercy University with six minutes remaining in the third quarter; 13-5 (6:00).
- Gordon added a draw control and a caused turnover to her two goals, while Colliluori partnered her score with five draw controls and a caused turnover.
- In net, senior goalkeeper Victoria Sloan (Philadelphia, Pa.) recorded a dozen (12) saves and three ground balls in the loss (0-6).
Gwynedd Mercy University returns to action on Wednesday, March 18, when they visit King's College (Pa.) for a 4:00 p.m. contest.
