Lancaster, Pa. – (10/12/2026) – Gwynedd Mercy University senior midfielder
Luke O'Donnell (Glenside, Pa.) scored the lone Griffin goal (1-0, 29:54) in a 1-1 tie with Centenary University (N.J.)(Oct. 7) and assisted on the second Red and Gold tally (2-2, 53:32) of a 4-2 loss to Immaculata University (Oct. 10) to earn a spot on the
Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Men's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll.
O'Donnell was joined on the AEC Men's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll by Marymount University senior defenseman/midfielder Matthew Guzman-Veizaga (Leesburg, Va.), Saint Elizabeth University junior forward Brandon Quishpi (Elizabeth, N.J.) as well as Immaculata University freshman midfielder Declan Haines (Warminster, Pa.) and sophomore goalkeeper Luca Greppellini (Newbury, England). Marymount University sophomore forward Christopher Nascimento (King of Prussia, Pa.) was named the AEC Men's Soccer Player of the Week while Saint Elizabeth University senior goalkeeper Jonathan Ramirez-Delgado (Wharton, N.J.) was named the AEC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Gwynedd Mercy University (1-10-2, 0-2-1) used a first-half O'Donnell goal and a five-save performance from junior goalkeeper
Cody Sell (Souderton, Pa.) (1-5-2) to earn a 1-1 draw with Centenary University (N.J.) (3-7-2, 0-1-1). At 29:54, it was junior defender
Adam Leal (Jessup, Md.) who located O'Donnell for the first goal of the contest. The goal was part of a busy afternoon for O'Donnell, who finished with a game-high eight shots.
Gwynedd Mercy University welcomed Immaculata University (3-9, 2-1) to the Athletic Complex for Saturday afternoon's Senior Day contest. The Griffins wasted little time establishing its offense as O'Donnell headed the Red and Gold's first scoring opportunity left of the Mighty Mac goal at 1:01. Continued pressure resulted in senior forward
Devario Gboho (Philadelphia, Pa.) delivering a cross to the head of senior midfielder
Thomas Watkins (Morrisville, Pa.) just past the eight-minute mark; 1-0 (8:09). O'Donnell eventually earned a point in the contest as he found freshman defenseman
Cillian Berkery (Philadelphia, Pa.) for a game-tying goal in the 54
th minute.
Gwynedd Mercy University is back in action on Wednesday, October 14, when they host Marymount University for a 6:00 p.m. AEC kickoff.
