Bethlehem, Pa., - (9/24/2025) -  The Gwynedd Mercy University Griffins (2-5) traveled to visit the Moravian Greyhounds (4-4) for a contest under the lights this evening.  The Greyhounds were able to control time of possession, with six penalty corners and eight shots in the first half.  The trio of Abby LePage (Cinnaminson, N.J.), Lillie Uttenreither (Bel Air, Md) and Keleigh Clausius (Landerberg, Pa) worked with junior goalkeeper Nikki Williams(Cinnaminson, N.J.) to hold the line and finish the first half scoreless.  The Griffins had difficulty getting the ball to their offensive end, and Moravian's power resulted in a goal in the third quarter (12:57 Q3).  The Griffins were able to increase their time in their half of the field but were not able to convert LePage's shot, resulting in a 0-1 loss. 

Griffin Highlights: 

• Junior goalkeeper Nikki Williams (Cinnaminson, N.J.) matched her career-high 13 saves in the loss. 

• Penalties were problematic for both teams, though the Greyhounds were able to edge out the Griffins 60-43. 

• Defender Abby LePage (Cinnaminson, N.J.) showed her veteran leadership on both ends of the field, with two defensive saves and the Griffins' sole shot. 

The Griffins next travel to Hood College on Saturday, September 27 for a 2:00 matchup.
