Gwynedd Valley, Pa. - (4/23/2025) - Gunnar Seaman (Worcester, Pa.) gave the Gwynedd Mercy University (6-9, 2-3) something to celebrate in this evening's Atlantic East Conference (AEC) and

regular season finale as the Griffin junior attack recorded the 100th goal of his collegiate career with a second-quarter, man-up goal that reduced an early Marymount University (10-5, 4-1) advantage to 8-2 (10:36). Unfortunately, Seaman's milestone score was not enough to sway the momentum in an eventual 17-5 Saints' win. Seaman was one of four Griffins to contribute to the Red and Gold's goal total; senior attack
Richie Hughes (Turnersville, N.J.) led the group with his pair (5-1, 3:05, 1QTR/13-3, 5:47, 3QTR). Senior goalkeeper
Jared Devine (Pottstown, Pa.) totaled 13 saves, a ground ball, and a caused turnover in the loss (6-9).
Griffin Highlights

- The Griffins were successful on 14-of-20 (.700) of their clears and they recovered 18 ground balls; graduate defenseman Jim Bickel (Fairless Hills, Pa.) was responsible for a team-high four.

With a 2-3 AEC record, Gwynedd Mercy University will serve as the #4 seed for the upcoming 2025 AEC Men's Lacrosse Championship Tournament. Therefore, the Griffins will travel to #1 Immaculata University for a 1:00 p.m. semifinal contest on Saturday, April 26.
