Sophomore pitcher Patrick Talley (Collingswood, N.J.) pitched three innings allowing two earned runs, three hits, and a walk in the loss (3-2).
Griffin Highlights:
- In the first inning, a double down the right field line from sophomore Drew Haines (Hammonton, N.J.) lead to a run-batted-in single from junior infielder Jimmy DeCarlo (Ridley Park, Pa.) and giving the Griffins an early 1-0 lead.
- DeCarlo was the only member on the Red and Gold to record multiple hits (2-of-4) with his single in the first and a single in the sixth.
