Immaculata, Pa. - (2/8/2025) - Gwynedd Mercy University (5-16, 1-6 AEC) dropping the three previous Atlantic East Conference (AEC) matchups traveled to Immaculata University (18-3, 8-0 AEC) looking to get back to their winning ways. Unfortunately, the Mighty Macs had their way all day against the Red and Gold as the team suffered an 81-52 defeat. Sophomore guard Alyssa Cresto (Newark, Del.) led the way for Gwynedd Mercy going 4-of-16 (25%) from the field with ten points. Cresto also collected two rebounds and a steal to her stat sheet. 

Griffin Highlights:  

• Junior forward captain Erin Eisenhart (Bethlehem, Pa.) was a defensive menace throughout the contest. Eisenhart finished with a new career-high six steals in the contest. To go with her six steals, she finished with a team-high seven rebounds, three assists, and four points.  
• Gwynedd Mercy at points in the match struggled to solve Immaculata's defense as the Mighty Macs forced 23 turnovers and recorded 19 steals.  
• Immaculata's offense mostly came in the paint as they recorded 48 of their 81 points in the paint, while the Red and Gold recorded 30 points in the paint.  

Gwynedd Mercy continues AEC play on Wednesday, February 12 when the team host Marymount University for a 6:00 p.m. tipoff.
