The next batter, senior outfielder Sam Junker (Ambler, Pa.) had a professional at bat with a sacrifice fly to right field giving Gwynedd Mercy an early 2-0 lead.
- Down 6-2 heading into the eighth and the basses loaded, sophomore infielder Ryan Horner (Cinnaminson, N.J.) continued his hot start to the 2025 season with an RBI single bringing home junior infielder Jimmy DeCarlo (Ridley Park, Pa.) (6-3). The next batter, sophomore infielder Drew Haines (Hammonton, N.J.) put the bat to the ball grounding out to second base, but scoring junior outfielder Chris Nodeland (Hamilton, N.J.) (6-4).
