Red and Gold Opens 2025 with Loss to Green Terror

Westminster, Md. - (2/15/2025) - The 2025 Gwynedd Mercy University men's lacrosse season got underway this afternoon in Westminster, Maryland, as the Red and Gold lost today's season opener at McDaniel College by a 15-3 measure. The Griffins trailed 4-0 after the first quarter and finally ended the Green Terror's opening run on a unassisted score from senior midfielder Ian Kish (Easton, Pa.) with 34 seconds remaining in the second quarter; 7-1 (0:34). Junior attack Josh Devine (Pottstown, Pa.) followed with another Red and Gold goal just seconds later, 7-2 (0:31), but the Gwynedd Mercy University outburst was not enough to sway McDaniel College's momentum.
