Gwynedd Valley, Pa. – (11/4/2025) – Scheduled for Wednesday, November 5 and Thursday, November 6, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Community and Belonging Social Media Campaign. Created in collaboration with the office of inclusion and the National Student-Athlete Advisory Committees, the campaign was created to celebrates those authentic voices, connections, and experiences, student-athletes encounter in their college communities. This year, it focuses on "Belonging"; for student-athletes, belonging shows up in the connections made with teammates, the support of coaches and mentors, and the impact they have on their communities.

Wednesday, Nov. 5 & Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025
 
DAY 1 (Wednesday, Nov. 5) – Belonging; strong connections build strong teams. Share how a teammate makes you feel like you belong. Tag them to recognize their impact.
   
DAY 2 (Thursday, Nov. 6) - My Impact, My Community; share how you have impacted your athletic community and recognize the people (coaches, administrators, trainers, family members, teammates, friends) who support your efforts.  
Over the next couple days, the Gwynedd Mercy University Athletics community will be sharing how the Red and Gold goes out of its way to make every person feels like they belong. All Griffins need support on the collegiate journey and we look forward to taking the time to thank and acknowledge the coaches, administrators, trainers, family members, teammates, and friends who have help us along the way.   
 
The NCAA encourages student-athletes to help foster inclusive environments within intercollegiate athletics. This year, the Gwynedd Mercy University Athletics is pleased to join its fellow Atlantic East Conference (AEC) affiliates in this National social media campaign with social media content that focuses on creating a true campus community, where student-athletes, coaches, and administrators can promote dialogue surrounding diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
