DiFebbo Leads Griffins in Road Battle at Rutgers-Camden

Camden, N.J. - (11/19/2025) – Despite a strong night from sophomore forward Julianna DiFebbo (West Deptford, N.J.) and a productive bench unit, Gwynedd Mercy University (1-4) couldn't overcome Rutgers-Camden's (3-2) explosive second half, falling 76-47 on Wednesday evening.DiFebbo delivered one of her most efficient outings of the season, scoring 14 points on 6-of-9 (67%) shooting, consistently attacking the lane, and providing early momentum. DiFebbo also recorded four rebounds, an assist, and a steal.

Griffin Highlights:

  • The second quarter saw another strong surge from DiFebbo, who scored eight of the Griffins' 12 points in the frame. Freshman forward Caitlyn Majiros (Nanticoke, Pa.), meanwhile, jump-started the bench contribution with a series of aggressive takes inside, finishing the night with 11 points and a team-high seven rebounds on the glass. Her scoring provided key lifts anytime the Griffins needed an answer.
  • Junior guard Alyssa Cresto (Newark, Del.) contributed six points and knocked down two threes, including a late triple in the fourth that halted a Camden run. Senior forward Erin Eisenhart (Bethlehem, Pa.) added four points, four rebounds, two assists, and four steals, displaying her usual defensive versatility. Sophomore guard Kailyn Bell (Ridley Park, Pa.) chipped in three points, three assists, and a key third-quarter three-pointer during a moment when Gwynedd Mercy briefly trimmed the deficit.
  • Gwynedd Mercy finished with 37 total rebounds and 20 points off turnovers, with several players producing positive individual performances and the bench combining for 18 points.

Gwynedd Mercy University is back in action on Tuesday, November 25, when the team returns to the Griffin Complex to take on Swarthmore College for a 6:00 p.m. tip-off.
