Griffin Highlights
- Gwynedd Mercy University found a double-digit advantage, 26-16 (4:22), with a layup from junior guard Mazen Sayed (Chichester, Pa.).
- Thanks to a clutch three from senior guard Jake Okon (Yonkers, N.Y.), 29-16 (3:58), and a pair of free throws, 34-19 (3:02), the Red and Gold easily took a 36-25 (0:30) to halftime.
- In the second half, Penn State Mont Alto was distanced by as many as 27 points, 76-49 (4:13), before the end of the contest.
- In all, 11 Griffins recorded a point; 32 points of them came off the bench.
- The Red and Gold totaled 19 assists. Senior guard Jalen Snead (Philadelphia, Pa.) led with four. He also headlined the defense with a block and four steals.
