- Late in the first quarter, Gwynedd Mercy University looked to tie the affair with an offensive front that produced shots from sophomore midfielder Morgan Hoban (Cinnaminson, N.J.) (14:26), Reed (14:36), an penalty corner, and a final shot from junior defender Lillie Uttenreither (Bel Air, Maryland) (15:00).
- Reed continued to headline the Griffin forays with support from sophomore forward Allyssa Seifert (Philadelphia, Pa.) and freshman forward Gianna Radcliffe (Harleysville, Pa.). Seifert totaled two shots.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Kelly Weaver (Flemington, N.J.) relieved Williams in the fourth quarter and made four saves over the final 15:00 minutes.
Gwynedd Mercy University opens their Atlantic East Conference (AEC) schedule on Saturday, October 11, when they host Marywood University for a 3:00 p.m. contest.
