Jocelyn Baumeister (Willow Grove, Pa.) in game two of the league doubleheader. Baumeister struck out 11 Pacers and scored on the first of two hits (2-for-3); she held Marywood University to one run on six hits and a walk. Seniors, first baseman

Shylynn Cordero (Allentown, Pa.) (0-for-3, BB) plated the winning runs in the fourth inning with a double down the left field line (2-1) and a run-scoring fielder's choice (3-1), respectively.
Griffin Highlights - Game One
- Gwynedd Mercy University had a runner on second base in each of their first two at-bats. Cordero reached second in the first inning, advancing into scoring position after a lead-off walk and a sacrifice bunt from junior left fielder Ally McDaid (Maple Glen, Pa.). In the second inning, it was Baumeister who reached second after a lead-off single and a sacrifice bunt from senior designated player Ashley Focht (Harrisburg, Pa.).
- Senior third baseman Grace Scally (Philadelphia, Pa.) led off the seventh with a double to right center. AÂ Baumeister ground out moved the pinch runner - freshman Izzy LaPerry (Beachwood, N.J.) - to third, but just like the earlier chances, the Griffins came away empty handed.
- Junior Emily Murphy (Philadelphia, Pa.) took the loss (2-4) despite holding Marywood University to two earned runs on six hits and five walks. She struck out three.
Griffin Highlights - Game Two
- Scally's two-out double to center field scored McDaid in the first inning of game two; 1-0. McDaid reached with one-out single to third base.
- In the fourth inning, Baumeister led off with a single to right field and scored on Haggerty's two-out double down the line; 2-0. The Griffins plated a second run in the inning with Cordero's fielder's choice to short; 3-0.
- Baumeister took care of the rest, striking out six of the Pacers' final 12 outs for her fourth win (4-3) of the season.
- McDaid was 3-for-4 and stole a base in addition to scoring in the first inning.
