Gwynedd Valley, Pa. - (4/21/2024) - Gwynedd Mercy University (13-18, 5-5) welcomed Marymount University (17-17-1, 9-3) back to campus for the continuation of their extra-inning Atlantic East Conference (AEC) contest from April 9. With a runner placed on second base, the Saints made the best of the opportunity and the Griffins did not; the result was a 2-1, 10-inning win for the visitors. After a brief break, the conference foes made the most of the afternoon and engaged in a non-conference contest. The Red and Gold plated three runs in both the third (3-0) and fourth (6-0) innings to come away with a consolation prize; 6-0. Freshman second baseman
Avery Schwartz (Collegeville, Pa.) was 3-for-4 in the halted game, while senior
Jocelyn Baumeister (Willow Grove, Pa.) was left with no decision after holding the Saints to one earned run one on five hits over nine innings. Freshman
