- Cordero walked to lead off Gwynedd Mercy University's first at-bat of the twin bill. She was sacrificed to second by junior left fielder Ally McDaid (Maple Glen, Pa.), moved to third on a single from freshman second baseman Avery Schwartz (Collegeville, Pa.), and scored on Scally's single to right field; 1-0. Schwartz scored next on Smith's sacrifice fly; 2-0.
- The Griffins put runners in scoring position all the remaining innings, but the last. Unfortunately, they were not able to convert against the Rutgers-Camden staff.
- Cordero (1-for-2), McDaid (1-for-2), Schwartz (1-for-4), Scally (1-for-4), Smith (1-for-3), Baumeister (1-for-4), and Murphy (1-for-3) each recorded a hit in the contest.
Griffin Highlights - Game Two
- Cordero singled to lead off the first inning and bunt singled to advance McDaid to third base in the third inning. McDaid (1-for-2) led off the at-bat with a single through the middle.
- Smith (1-for-3) provided the fourth Griffin hit with lead off single in the fourth inning.
