Center Valley, Pa. - (10/12/2024) - Gwynedd Mercy University ended their extended layoff this afternoon with an eight kilometer (8K) run at the DeSales University Invitational. The Griffins placed 16th (16th of 16, 479 points) with junior Sebastian DeSimone (West Orange, N.J.) pacing the pride; he finished 95th with a season's best time of 30:46.4. Mesiah University won the event with three finishers among the top-seven helping them to 40 points. Widener University provided the top finisher in junior Tom Fleer (Mullica Hill, N.J.), who completed the course in 26:07.1.
