Mike Marable (Philadelphia, Pa.) was the ringleader for Gwynedd Mercy University (11-8, 4-2) in a thrilling 99-77 Atlantic East Conference (AEC) victory over Marywood University (8-10, 3-3) that included his 1,000th career point (73-53, 13:22) among a career-high 20. The Pacers scored the first four points (4-0, 18:12) of the contest, but never really threatened the Griffins' control of the contest after a 17-2 run gave the Red and Gold their initial double-digit lead; 17-6 (12:51). Gwynedd Mercy University's first-half lead maxed out at 19 points (53-34, 0:36) before settling at 17 points (53-36, 0:01) for intermission. In the second half, the Griffins extended their advantage to 21 points, 59-38, with 17:22 still to play and this time maxed out the spread at 27 points, 80-53 (11:25), before settling for their 22-point victory.
