Demmi Fox (Huntingdon Valley, Pa.), and freshman midfielder
Bridget Cannon (Bensalem, Pa.) all netted their first multi-goal game of their young careers. Gordon scored her two goals at 14:09 and 63:20. Fox scored at 38:29 and 65:42, while Cannon netted her goals at 22:01 and 47:38. Gordon now has four goals on the year, Cannon has three, and Fox has two.
Griffin Highlights:
- Joining the three freshmen in the goal category was freshman forward Ksenia Semenovykh (Warminster, Pa.) (3:56). Semenovykh now has seven goals on the year and is first in the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) in goals scored.
- The Griffins dominated throughout the game and did not give the Patriots the chance to set up offensively as Gwynedd won the shot category 21-1.
- Fox had a career and game-high eight shots with six of those being on net.
- Junior midfielder Caroline Weir (Warminster, Pa.) had her first assist of her career on Fox's first goal.
- Freshman goalkeeper Miranda Abrams (Philadelphia, Pa.) made her first collegiate career start and played all 90 minutes. She stopped the one shot she faced and earned her first career shutout.
