Griffin Highlights:
- Freshman defenseman Rebecca Gordon (Sicklerville, N.J.) netted her second goal of her collegiate at the 51:11 mark and finished with a career and game-high 12 shots against the Defenders. She also tallied an assist in the affair.
- The Griffins played as a cohesive unit in the defensive end, only allowing five shots on goal through the entire game and not giving Clarks Summit a single corner kick.
- Sophomore captain forward Bethany Beinlich (Forksville, Pa.) netted her second goal of the season (49:41), while finishing with four shots.
- Gwynedd Mercy continuously throughout the game took shots at the net and won the shots category 39-15.
Gwynedd Mercy looks to make it two in a row when they travel to the University of Valley Forge on Wednesday, September 20, for a 4:00 p.m. kickoff.
