Gwynedd Valley, PA - (3/25/23) - In the first contest of the PAZA; Tree of Life Games, Gwynedd Mercy Women's Lacrosse fell to the Arcadia Knights 7-12 on Saturday afternoon.

Highlights:

• Junior captain, Kristin Varilla, sparked the Griffin offense putting up 6 points (5 goals, 1 assist) on the team's seven goals.
• Senior captain, Reilly Owens, led the team in ground balls (5) and caused turnovers (4) while saving 11 of the 23 shots faced.
• Sophomore, Hailey Bloom, recorded a career high 6 draw controls and added an assist. 
• The Griffin Defense held the Knights to one goal in the fourth quarter.

The Griffins will be back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Collegeville to take on Ursinus.
