- After falling behind 6-3 in the first half, Eide held Gwynedd Mercy University even with three third-quarter scores (13:30, 5:18, 4:02).
- Junior attack Tyler Long (Downingtown, Pa.) cut the final margin by a tally with back-to-back goals in the final minute (0:31, 0:24); Eide provided the assist on both of those scores.
- The Griffin out-shot the Aggies 49-28 and were more efficient on the clear (.857 (18-of-21) - .828 (24-of-29)), while beating Delaware Valley in ground balls (27-23).
