The Griffin advantage held through halftime, 34-30 (0:00), and the first few minutes of the second half, 38-37 (17:07). Later, more key Vinson three pointers (9:03, 8:31) and the backcourt hustle of freshman guard D.J. Johnson (Norristown, Pa.) and senior guard Manny Clark (Pottsgrove, Pa.) delivered Gwynedd Mercy University from a five-point deficit (45-40, 3:55) to a nine-point perch (64-55, 8:31) and an eventual 85-79 (0:00) win in tonight's Atlantic East Conference (AEC) home finale.

• Gwynedd Mercy University owned their largest lead of the contest - 13 points (25-12) with 11:13 remaining in the first half.
• The Griffins out rebounded (41-35) Centenary University, took better care of the ball than the Cyclones (10-11), and was nearly perfect from the free throw line (19-of-20, .950).
• Vinson scored 11 of his team-high 19 points in the first half. He also recorded six rebounds, two assists, a block, and a steal.
• Johnson recorded his season-high 17 points with an efficient 5-of-7 (.714) shooting performance and a perfect 6-of-6 (1.000) effort at the free throw line. Had supported the scoring with five rebounds and five assists.
• Clark finished with 15 points with three three-point baskets (3-of-5, .600) and a pair of free throws (2-of-2, 1.000). He additionally offered four rebounds, an assist, a block, and a steal to the Griffin success.
