Aston, Pa. - (10/72023) - Gwynedd Mercy University (2-9, 1-1) played their second straight Atlantic East Conference (AEC) road contest with today's trip to Neumann University (3-9, 1-1). The Griffins out shot the Knights 4-0 in the opening frame and 6-2 in the second, but Neumann University made the most of their second-quarter chances with the lone goal (1-0, 29:30) of a 1-0 final. Sophomore forward Mackenzie Reed (Philadelphia, Pa.) and freshman midfielder Lillie Uttenriether (Bel Air Md.) both accounted for five of the Gwynedd Mercy University's 16 shots.

• Gwynedd Mercy University owned a 16-5 shot advantage. In addition to Reed and Uttenriether, junior forward Ashley Berry (Philadelphia, Pa.) (3 Shots), freshman Hailey Crosby (Afton, N.Y.) (1), junior midfielder Laura Filchner (Bath, Pa.) (1), and junior forward Amber Sims (Perkasie, Pa.) (1) offered the other Griffin shots.
• The Griffins also had an 8-6 edge in penalty corners.
• Freshman goalkeeper Nikki Williams (Cinnaminson, N.J.) made three saves in the loss (2-8).
