Gwynedd Valley, Pa. (10/25/2023) - Gwynedd Mercy University (7-4-5, 1-1-4) hosted Centenary University (N.J.)  (5-8-2, 2-3-1) as the team played their final regular season game of the 2023 season. Both teams had golden opportunities to find the back of the net but were unable to capitalize as the match ended in a 0-0 tie. Sophomore goalkeeper Natalie Gablein (Philadelphia, Pa.) started all 90 minutes in net for the Griffins and finished with a season-high 12 saves in the tie bringing her final record to 3-0-1 on the year.
 
Griffin Highlights: 

• Both freshman forward Ksenia Semenovykh (Warrington, Pa.) and sophomore forward captain Bethany Beinlich (Forksville, Pa.) finished with two shots on goal as the Cyclones won the shot on net category 12-7. 
• The best chance for the Griffins came at the 46:45 mark when Beinlich was able to get past her defender and get a shot on net which just went wide right of the post keeping the score tied 0-0. 

 
Gwynedd Mercy University returns to action on Saturday, October 28, when they take part in the Atlantic East Conference Championship Tournament for the first time since 2021 with their opponent and time to be determined.
