Gwynedd Valley, Pa. - (10/2/2023) - Gwynedd Mercy University (1-4-4) played host to Delaware Valley University (1-4-4) as both teams were in a stalemate the entire match with the game ending in a 0-0 tie. Freshman goalkeeper Kevin Kretschman (Glenside, Pa.) made the start for the Griffins in the net starting all 90 minutes and finishing with three saves in the no-decision (0-2-2).
 
Griffin Highlights: 

• Gwynedd Mercy's best opportunity of the night to find the back of the net was in the final stages of the contest. With a little less than 10 minutes to go graduate midfielder, captain Hugh Lynch (Philadelphia, Pa.) had a shot blocked. The ball, however, perfectly rebounded out to sophomore forward Braedon Kehan (Warrington, Pa.) who got a shot on net, but the Aggies goalie made a beautiful one-handed save.
• Delaware Valley outshot Gwynedd Mercy 20-14 as junior midfielder Kasey Wallace (Audubon, N.J.) had a team-high four shots. 

 
Gwynedd Mercy returns to action Wednesday, October 4, when they return to the Athletic Complex and take on Atlantic East Conference opponent Cabrini University for a 4:00 p.m. kickoff.
