Gwynedd Valley, Pa. – (10/18/2023) – On Wednesday, October 25, the Gwynedd Mercy University women's volleyball team welcomes Rutgers-Camden to the Griffin Complex for a 6:00 p.m. Side-Out Foundation Dig Pink event. The Side-Out Foundation's Dig Pink is an event for coaches, athletes, parents, and communities who support the organization's long-standing tradition of raising funds for research and treatments of metastatic breast cancer. The Gwynedd Mercy University women's volleyball team encourages all in attendance to wear pink in support of breast cancer research. Collection buckets will be on-hand for those looking to donate.

Founded in 2006, Side-Out Foundation Executive Director, Rick Dunetz, was a high school volleyball coach when his mother, Gloria, was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer. Since then, the Side-Out Foundation has helped communities rally and fundraise to support breast cancer research with over 9,000 Dig Pink events nation-wide.
