Bryn Athyn, Pa. - (9/17/2022) - Today's competition brought Gwynedd Mercy University to Bryn Athyn College, where the Lions landed a four-goal victory - 4-0 - thanks to a 43-4 shot advantage. Freshman forward Bethany Beinlich (Forksville, Pa.) fired three of the Griffins' four shots, while freshmen goalkeeper Madisson Ronn (Warrington, Pa.) fell a save shy of the program's all-time single-game save mark with 21 stops in the loss (1-2-1).

Bryn Athyn College (3-1-1) scored their first goal in the 40th minute (1-0, 39:34) and added to their lead with an early second-half score; 2-0 (47:56). As Lion shots mounted, Gwynedd Mercy University (2-3-2) was unable to sway the momentum of the contest. Additional Bryn Athyn College goals followed at 69:03 (3-0) and 77:09 (4-0).

Beinlich offered shots at 0:53, 53:51, and 57:23. Junior midfielder Ireland Smith (Philadelphia, Pa.) offered the fourth Gwynedd Mercy University shot just before Beinlich's last (54:24). 

Gwynedd Mercy University continues their schedule on Wednesday, September 21, when they visit Cairn University for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
