Abigail McCoy (Woodlyn, Pa.) knocked in runs in the Griffins' first at-bat of the nightcap. A sixth-inning run-batted-in (RBI) from freshman shortstop
Carly Maw (Bensalem, Pa.) kept Gwynedd Mercy University up by a two-run margin, 3-1, but Monarchs halved the deficit with a run in the bottom of the sixth and tied it with a run in the seventh; 3-3. In extras, a pair of King's College doubles overshadowed a their errors.

Emily Shaheen (Pottstown Pa.) (1-for-3), Focht (1-for-3, R), and Baumeister (1-for-4, RBI) also recorded hits. Focht allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks. She took no decision and struck out three in the first six innings.
